If your child is planning a future trip to Cairn Brae or is here right now, we want you to have the information you need to rest easy while he or she is away. There are many activities at camp in which your child may be participating. Whether they are challenged while kayaking, playing on the water inflatables or spending time in the game tent, their safety is our top concern.

Young Life International and Cairn Brae maintain the highest level of safety standards in operation of all our activities at camp.
Cairn Brae's zip wire is inspected every 6 months by our site manager, who is certified by the ERCA (European Ropes Course Association). The zip wire is operated by staff who have been trained and certified by the ERCA.
Cairn Brae's waterfront program is also facilitated by trained and experienced lifeguards. Your child will be in good hands while at Cairn Brae.
In the event of an unexpected accident, there is always a qualified medical professional on call to tend to your child's needs. Also, if needed, the local hospital is only a short drive away.
